I just realised that the name of the disgraced ex-Prime Minister of Iceland is Geir Haarde.

Geir Haarde was found guilty of “failing to hold emergency cabinet meetings in the runup to the crisis”. His name is humorously similar to the name of another politician from slightly further back in the past of a slightly different calibre.
